DNS registration

We make the registration of ’.hu’ domains according to the Hungarian laws and regulations. The full version of regulation can be read on the page domain.hu. A ’.hu’ domain can be required by organisations and private individuals, as well. The domain will be registerred on normal way (non-priority), within 17 calender days.

The domain name can be 2 to 24 characters long. The domain name can only contain the small letters of the Latin and the Hungarian ABC with or without accents (a-z), numbers (0-9) and dashes (-). The first and last letter of the domain name have to be a letter or a number, and cannot contain two or more dashes next to each other.

Necessary data and documents

If you want to claim a domain name, please make the following steps:

1. Collect the data as follows:

Domain name

Legal status of claimant

            Telephone no. of claimant
            Address of claimant
            E-mail address of claimant

2. Attach the following documents to the order form

a) in case of a private individual:

a. copy of identitiy card

b. copy of address card if you have a new ID card

c. any deed proving the citizenship of EU

b) in case of a organization:

a. copy of the register

b. signature sample

c) in case of trade mark entitled: the document verifying the trade mark protection

3. Please send the above mentioned information
